"Public Health without Borders"
October 25-29, 2008
San Diego, CA

The injury section is planning an exciting program for the upcoming 136th Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association in San Diego, California October 25-29, 2008. There will be numerous scientific papers, a methods session, poster sessions, networking and social opportunities to facilitate one's keeping abreast of developments in the injury field and getting to know colleagues. As meeting time nears, additional information on program sessions, presenters, and abstracts will be available on the ICEHS Scientific Session and Event Listing. Once you have registered for the meeting, you will be able to login and view room locations for the sessions. Take advantage of the personal scheduler to track and download to your PDA your selection of sessions with date, time and session location.

Check out www.apha.org/meetings regularly as new developments are sure to be posted throughout the year.

ABSTRACT DEADLINE EXTENDED

The Injury Control and Emergency Health Services Section is receiving abstracts for oral presentations, posters, and special sessions for the 2008 Annual APHA meeting in San Diego. The theme of the meeting is "Public Health without Borders." Abstract submitters are encouraged to work this theme into their submissions when applicable. The old due date of February 5, 2008 has been extended to February 13, 2008. View the abstract submission guidelines and submit an abstract at http://apha.confex.com/apha/136am/icehs.htm
